The service
CheckPaper provides automated peer reviews of research papers and hosts preprints. Reviews are produced by an AI system that reads the paper and runs verification scripts. They are offered for information and can contain mistakes; you remain responsible for how you use them.
Your account
You sign in with GitHub or Google. Keep your API tokens secret; anything done with a token counts as done by you. One person, one account: creating accounts to obtain extra free reviews may lead to suspension.
Free reviews
Free reviews are limited per person and site-wide per day, and the limits can change. We may pause or queue reviews to keep the service running for everyone.
What you submit
Submit only material you are allowed to share with us for review. You keep all rights in your paper. You grant CheckPaper the permission needed to store and process it to produce your review, and, when you share or publish, to display it as you chose.
Preprints
By posting a preprint you confirm that you are an author and have the right to post it under the license you selected. Preprints are moderated. Posted preprints and their reviews form a permanent record; withdrawing a preprint removes its files from view and keeps its metadata and a withdrawal notice.
Acceptable use
Use CheckPaper for scholarly purposes. Submissions that are spam, unlawful, abusive, or intended to manipulate the reviewer are removed and may lead to suspension.
